A.F.R.A. Arkansas Fallen Riders Association

First of all, I would like to thank Richard for all of his hard work and effort in this endeavor.  I would also like to thank Lourie and George for helping us with the guidelines and all of the other stuff like setting up, cooking etc that they do for us.  Randy and Elaine for their help both financial (huge donation) physical work and too much else to mention.  Mrs Andrea for all of her help with the great breakfast etc.  Most of all I would like to thank everyone who showed up and joined our organization.   That was truly incredible 34 members joined and I know there are more coming both by the mail and in person in the very near future.  I would also like to thank everyone for taking the time to listen to Richard and I talk about what we are trying to do here and for caring enough to make donations for the breakfast.  This means a lot  to us all and apparently it means something to you all too! We had representatives from ABATE dist 1 that came all the way down to participate.  Thank you.  We also had representatives from the Condors, the Low RIders, and ABATE district 20, the CMA, and I'm sure I have left some out. For that I apologize.  But what I gathered from the turnout and the amount of money raised is that we are doing a very good thing.  We also had a great ride and will continue to ride after each meeting.  I am looking forward the next month and getting to know each of you all better.  I would also like to thank Keith Cook for Blessing the Bikes.  Last, but certainly not least I would like to thank my beautiful wife Sandy for all she has done and is doing to help get this thing off the ground(and for putting up with me, which can't be easy).  I am sure I have left some out but please don't take it as a slight just poor memory.lol.  In summary I would like say THANK YOU to all who had anything to do with the success we have experienced and  to everyone that is going to continue to support us and join us in the future.  Your friend,Rick P.S. We have a lot of great ideas for some fund raisers and we will definitely be riding because that is what we love to  do.

As someone who has several friends who have fallen, and as someone who has laid down a bike myself, I wanted to thank all who worked to make this happen!  Great idea, keep up the great work and I look forward to meeting you all at events over the summer months!
