There will be a memorial service and ride for five fallen riders held on Saturday, November 5, 2011. The riders are Albert "Wizard" Speelman, James "Stroker" Wiggs, Ron Higginbotham, Betty Elizabeth "Eli" Rawls and Michael "Spunk" Runnells. The memorial service will be held at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Lane, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Doors open 8:30 AM, breakfast at 9:15 AM, service at 10:15 AM. AFRA's October breakfast will be held on Saturday, October 8th (note the date change for October only). We will have a silent auction and a 100 point run to benefit AFRA so make plans to be there! If you have items you would like to donate to AFRA for the auction please contact us at info@afraf.com. As usual doors open at 8:30 AM at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Lane, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. We hope to see you there on October 8th...spread the word!

AFRA now has yard signs from MAC, a non-profit Motorcycle Awareness Campaign headquartered in Louisiana. The signs are plastic and come with a wire stand. The signs will not be available through the AFRA Online Store due to difficlulty in shipping, however the signs can be picked up at any monthly AFRA Breakfast meeting for a $10 donation.

The Arkansas Fallen Riders Association (AFRA) will hold its monthly "Bikers Breakfast" on Saturday, August 6, 2011. All motorcyclists and motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to attend. Once again, a very big final thank you is in order to all of the various ride groups and individuals who attended the AFRA Memorial Service and Ride on July 2nd. The day was a very meaningful experience with nearly 200 persons and close to 100 bikes in attendance. Your presence was certainly appreciated. Thank you again for supporting these families and remembering their loved ones.

On July 2nd, 2011, the Arkansas Fallen Riders Association will host a Memorial Service at Watson Chapel Baptist Church, 5514 Pinnacle Ln. Pine Bluff. This service is being held to remember and honor five members of our riding family who lost their lives this past year.

AFRA, with the generous assistance of several local ride groups, has recently purchased two large 4' x 8' double sided motorcycle awareness signs and will display them prominently at rotating locations. Let us know if you have a location that would suitable to display one of the signs.

THIS EVENT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL!
The Arkansas Fallen Riders Association, based in Jefferson County, will host the motorcycle events at this year's White Hall Founders Day Parade in White Hall, Arkansas. We are seeking responsible motorcyclists to join us in the parade August 28th at 10:00 am.
